If you have children, and certainly if you have more than one, you know that each one presents differently and that you hold the highest outcomes for all of them. But when you think about how to achieve that outcome, you do different things because you understand those children differently. The larger society is just the same. You hold an outcome; for diverse populations, you will have to do different things in different ways, provide varying levels of support and engage differently depending on circumstances.
