People do change. People can change when they’re self-aware, receive support, and become intentional about behaving differently. Therefore, we need to be kind and considerate – mainly if we are in leadership positions. A lapse in judgment or an error doesn’t define a person forever.

Although some TV shows thrive on the idea that successful leaders have to be ruthless and uncompromising, this piece from BBC suggests that there’s more and more evidence that showing kindness as you pursue your goal is no barrier to your or your organization’s success.
