What looks and feels normal during a particular age is not always normal. The inequity in Ottawa took me on a journey into the past. What I came to know made me cry. I couldn’t capture much in this short video, but I hope it makes us think a bit serious about what we see all around us. Let’s stops considering it normal. Individually we can’t bend history. But individually, we can send forth tiny ripples of hope, which will collectively help us sweep down the systemic barriers that keep the legacy of racism alive in our age.
