Some shocking revelations here for those of us working hard to promote cohesion and build consensus to make progress together. Among many disappointing findings, in a recent study by Ottawa-based firm Anacus Data, “37% (or 11 million) think “there is a group of people in this country who are trying to replace native-born Canadians with immigrants who agree with their political views. This is an articulation of what is commonly referred to as replacement theory.”
The task ahead of us is daunting because there is currently no end to social media’s unbridled propagation of misinformation and lies.
